The Meal should consist of ONLY these 3 items: 4 Rotis/Parathas/Puri 1 Sabzi/Curry (Without gravy) 1 Rice Item (Puliogare, Chitranna, Pulav, etc. No plain rice) COLLECTION CENTERS Individuals who prepare cooked meals will deliver them at your Collection Center. Packing Material will be provided to you, which you have to provide to the Meal Donors at a cost of ₹15 each. Volunteers will be provided to collect the Meal Boxes. VOLUNTEERS Volunteers help is required to collect the Meal Boxes from various Collection Centers, gather them at the venue and distribute them among the designated areas. (Our event is held in the 4th Saturday of each month) Yes No Do you agree with our terms and conditions? *These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Share A Meal Trust (“Share A Meal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) website and the information and services provided thereon (collectively, the “Site”) Please read these Terms carefully. By continuing to use the Site, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms, you may not use the Site. 1. Privacy Your use of the Site is also subject to the terms of the Share A Meal Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. 2. Age Restriction The Site is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under the age of thirteen (13), you are not permitted to use the Site. If you are over the age of thirteen (13) but at least eighteen (18), you may only use the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Agreement. 3. Usage of Content Share A Meal grants you a personal and non-commercial license to access and use the Site in the form provided by Share A Meal. The Site and its entire contents are owned by Share A Meal and may not be copied, reproduced, transmitted, displayed, distributed, sublicensed, altered or otherwise used in whole or in part in any manner without Share A Meal’s prior written consent. 4. Payments and Refunds When a Customer purchases goods from Share A Meal, each transaction will result in Share A Meal billing the Customer in the amount stated at the time of purchase, using the payment method specified by the Customer. A transaction begins as soon as the Customer has successfully completed the sign-up process, including payment confirmation. The Trust may change its pricing, but Customer payment billings will not be changed without the Customer’s permission. Customers may request refunds for reasons, which need to be deemed reasonable based on the discretion of Trustees. Once the refunds are approved, funds will be refunded to the Customer within a period of 14 working days. The mode through which the refund is processed will have to be agreed by both parties. 5. Financial & Contributions All contributions to Share A Meal become irrevocable gifts to Share A Meal and legal control and responsibility for the funds rest with Share A Meal. All contributions received by Share A Meal are subject to its “Variance Power.” Variance Power gives Share A Meal the authority to modify the distribution of funds for a specified project if the project becomes incapable of fulfillment or inconsistent with its original intent. In this case, Share A Meal will direct the funds toward a project as similar in nature as possible to that initially chosen by the donor. Share A Meal reserves the right to: To invest the trust funds from time to time in such securities and in such manner as they deem fit, to alter or very the investments from time to time to realise the investments, to acquire or to sell securities, debentures, stock and share. The funds of the trust shall be invested in such a manner that provision of the Income-tax act in respect of investments are not violated. To receive, collect or realise or cause collection or realisation of all interest, dividends bonus or premium to accrue due on all or any stock, funds, securities, shares, debentures or deeds or documents of like nature. To execute or negotiate all the necessary papers and documents (whether negotiable or non-negotiable), to receive money's and other assets and to grant receipts and discharges. To borrow for the purposes of the trust on the personal credit of the Trust with or without charge and responsibility upon the assets of the Trust. To open maintain accounts of any nature in any bank or banks of their choice and to authorise operations of the said accounts by any of the Trustees. To do all other act deeds, matters and things which they deem necessary for carrying out the objects of this Trust or its administration. 6. Enforcement and Termination Share A Meal, in its sole and absolute discretion, may end your use of the Site at any time, without prior notice, if you fail to comply with any of your obligations under these Terms, violate applicable law, or if you make any representation to us that is inaccurate. 7. Your License to Share A Meal Any communications or materials of any kind that you transmit to Share A Meal through or using the Site or Community, including, but not limited to, data, questions, comments, or suggestions (the “Communications”) will become the property of Share A Meal. You hereby agree that these Communications are non-confidential and non-proprietary for all purposes. You expressly grant Share A Meal a license to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, feedback or techniques contained in your Communications for any purpose including, but not limited to, developing, marketing, and selling products using such Communications. 8. Ownership All right, title, and interest in the Site and any content contained therein is the exclusive property of Share A Meal. The Site is protected by Indian and international copyright and intellectual property laws and regulations. All content, trademarks, services marks, trade names, logos, and icons are proprietary to Share A Meal or its affiliates or agents. Nothing contained in the Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark displayed in the Site without the written permission of Share A Meal or such third party that may own the trademarks displayed in the Site. Your use of the trademarks displayed in the Site, or any other content in the Site, except as provided herein, is strictly prohibited. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties Your use of the site is entirely at your sole risk. the site and community are provided by Share A Meal on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Share A Meal expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Share A Meal makes no warranty that (i) the site will meet your requirements, (ii) that operation of the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or (iii) the content that may be obtained from the use of the site will be accurate or reliable. Share A Meal undertakes no obligation to update the site. no advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Share A Meal, or through the site shall create any warranty regarding the site not expressly stated in this agreement. You understand and acknowledge that additional disclaimers, limitations, and notices regarding the site and its content and data may be provided by Share A Meal from time to time within the site or on Share A Meal’s website. 10. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, in no event shall Share A Meal be responsible for any loss of any kind, including loss associated with any computer viruses which may infect your computer system or mobile device, property damage, and bodily injury, whether caused by access to or use of the site. You expressly understand and agree that, to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, Share A Meal and its affiliates and their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goods, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Share A Meal has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the site or any other matter relating to the site. 11. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Share A Meal and its affiliates and their directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any claim, demand, loss, costs, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of investigation, arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, applicable laws, or regulations. Under no circumstances will Share A Meal or its affiliates or their directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives be liable for any damages of any kind that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Site. 12. Choice of Law These Terms and will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Karnataka and the parties expressly consent to the jurisdiction of courts of that state. 13. Security of Data Transmission We maintain commercially reasonable security measures to protect data obtained via the Site. These security measures include industry-standard physical, administrative, and technology-based measures. However, no security measure or modality of data transmission is one hundred percent secure. You acknowledge that, as with all electronic communications, there is a risk that data, including email, electronic communications, and personal data, may be accessed by unauthorized third parties when communicated between you and Share A Meal or between you and other parties. 14. Waiver and Severability If Share A Meal does not exercise of enforce any particular right set forth in these Terms, Share A Meal does not waive that right. If any provision of these Terms if found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then you and Share A Meal agree that the court should endeavor to follow the intention of the provision and that all other provisions of the Terms will remain in full force and effect. 15. Entire Agreement These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Share A Meal with respect to the Site. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between you and Share A Meal with respect to the Site. 16. Changes to the Terms Share A Meal may amend these Terms from time to time by posting a copy of the updated Terms. Changes to the Terms will be applicable to any use of the Site after the effective date of the changes. Your continued use of the Site constitutes agreement to the changes. If you do not agree with the changes to the Terms, your sole remedy is to not use the Site. The Trustees shall have power from time to time to make and alter such regulations with regard to the conduct of the business and all matters in respect of duty hereby vested in them, as they may think proper. The Board of Trustees, if they so choose and for the benefit of the Trust, may delegate by means of a resolution in writing any or all of their power to any one or more of them or any other person or persons for such time and purpose as they deem fit. 17. Liability Regarding Food Quality and Collection While Share A Meal takes necessary precautions to ensure food quality of the collected food is uncompromised, Share A Meal cannot be held liable for any untoward incidents caused or related to the quality of food distributed. 18. Membership Conditions All members agree to strictly adhere to these guidelines. Deviations from them is not encouraged and would influence and affect other members and organizations. Any clarification with regards to any part of the following guidelines should be conveyed at the earliest. Our aim is to involve every member actively and we value the efforts of all the members equally. Share A Meal belongs to all its members and we encourage the members to work towards the cause with the same mind. Following are the guidelines that will be implemented with immediate effect: Members shall accept food donations only in the packaging material of Share A Meal and shall inform the donors that no donations will be accepted in any other packaging. Members shall collect feedback from the donors regarding their experience in contribution to Share A Meal and should inform the Core Team about any difficulties faced by the donors. If members require any additional help, they shall ask for it within the group itself. Bringing unregistered members like friends & acquaintances will not be allowed. A member can convey his unavailability for the forthcoming event, any time before 10 days from the date of the event. Please note that responsibilities will be assigned and any cancellations 7 days before the event will not be allowed. Incase of cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, the member would try making provisions for replacements and communicate the same with their respective assigned Zonal Head. Volunteers and Collection Centers who collect packing material are requested to pay for the same immediately at the time of collected the material. Also, you may use the excess material for the next event, until instructed otherwise. Any unused packaging can be returned and the amount will be refunded. Conversion from one role (Meal Donor, Volunteer or Collection Center) to another, reduction in the number of roles or the addition of a role assigned to a member will require prior communication and discussion with the Core Team. A change from a Collection Center to a Volunteer only is not encouraged as the registrations are taken based on requirement, expansion into new areas and feasibility and/or availability of slots in that area. Members agree to share ideas and opinions on how the operations can be improvised and/or simplified. Please note all suggestions are to be given after the event, so that improvisation can be implemented for the next event. However, they should be given at least 2 weeks before the next event so that there is ample time for the team to consider, review and implement it. Members can refer their friends by asking them to sign up within the deadline for the next event. The deadline to register as a member will be 10 days before the next event. Acceptance of any registrations after that will be at the discretion of the Core Team as first come and first serve basis is followed. The functions of volunteers will now involve fostering donations as well from their locality or offices thereby aiding in spreading the word. This has been proposed in order to make the involvement of volunteers more proactive and not only being limited to logistics and distribution. Members are promoted to forwardly request for responsibilities and not wait until responsibilities are assigned to them. Members are required to follow the dress code strictly i.e. Dark Blue t-shirts. Any decisions involving policy mater will be taken after consideration with all its fellow members. Members facing any sort of difficulty are expected to contact Zonal Heads or the Core Teamand get it resolved immediately. Any difficulty, regardless of its nature, is to be conveyed to the said members. 17.
